Weird Problem With 301 IRD'S

Hi All: I just bought 8 301 ird's off ebay. I think all of them had yellow cards.

The problem is, i can't get the box keys off them with jkeys.

It seems the yellow cards change the firmware on the ird's so you can't retrive the boxkeys.

I have no trouble getting the keys off ird's that have the older cards. I'm using the same location on the bottom of the board.....but...nada.

I did get a partial dump, but the box keys all showed up as "F"

Any ideas?

Sounds like you just need to get the right version of jkeys to me. There are several versions in the files section that should work for that 301. BTW- Are these 301.10's or 301.13's. There's a big defference even though the box looks the same.

Yes, all 8 are 013 irds............I'll see if I can find the right version of jkeys.

Is the jtag location to get keys the same on the 13 as it is on the 10's?

They probably don't have the hole cut in the bottom of the case to access the jtag port, so it's easier to jtag from the top with these. www.bellexpress.vu/vidmod.html for a pic of which pads to connect jtag to.
