Coolsat4000 Pro & Dihnetwork 119 problem

Hi,

I just bought a brandnew Coolsat4000 Pro box & i upgrated with the latest firmware 1.28 and even 1.29. i have one dish 18" with two dual lnb on it (i use lnb holder for that), one for 110 and one for 119, the problem is it doesn't detect 119 signals but just 110, i changed the receiver with another one but not this brand & it just works fine, it get both 110 & 119, but my coolsat doesn't detect 119 signals!! all the diseq setting is correct, even if i remove the diseq switch and connect it directly, it doesn't work for 119, but works for 110, this problem just happen for my coolsat4000 pro, but if i change it to another one i got from my friend, it works perfectly, the only thing i just can think is the software i put in the box, or hardware problem, but i dont know what to do!!! any help is really appreciated

They are different brand, i think it was panatec, but mine is coolsat4000 pro

just curious, did you use a channel list for your coolsat? what channel list or if you blind scan? If your friend's ird is working with your equipt setup, then the problem lies within your coolsat firmware, or sat setup? make sure diseqc setup number is right and if none, then choose none. I suspect it is the channel list. let us know how things go.

edited: have you had channels line up in your system at all? If you have not had it due to the no signal, make sure you click on the next tp, maybe 2nd or 3rd since tp 1 at 12223 does not have anything on it.

i just put the latest firmware that i got from the public section for coolsat4000, its 1.29,... i didnt change anything, i just upgraded the ird with that,...do i need to change that?!!can you guide me to the right firmware & whatever working for you?

1.29 is the latest one from coolsat. what do you have as setup now? do you have diseqc or direct to your ird? what about 110, do you still get it? and 119, does it come up at all after the upgrade to 1.29? you have not told me if you load a channel list or you blind scan? LIke i saide in the previous post, if 110 is ok, then 119 should be too, unless you have diseqc setup wrong. Or if you might have hooked up the wrong cable. Check all that to confirm. Also, in your setup for 119, scroll to tp 2, and then see if you have signals, if you go, then just do channel scan. Post back and let us know again.

all the diseq setting & hardware are ok, the thing is i dont get signal for 119 & i just get for 110,!!!!while the signal comming from the cable,...there is just 2 progress bar for that signal, one is for level & one is for quality, i just have full red for level & 10 percent for quality in red color,... i didnt see anything that i can change the transponder on that! maybe i have to change the transponder setting,.. how can i change it?

ok, go out to the main menu, click on manual scan, you should see sat 119, if not scroll to that sat. under that there is "Freq" you would see the 1st tp which is at 12223, scroll to the right to the 2nd tp. Do you see any signal from that tp?

actually im at work now, i think i tried all those setting, but i'll do it again when i get home. it can get 110 & 97 for me, then it shouldn't has hardware problem, im i right? do you get 119 with this 1.29 firmware? !!!!

make sure you check all your settings, those are common problem. Post back here later if you still have a problem, if not, happy testing.

I my setup I get two green bars for 110 and two red bars for 119. Although they are red, it works fine. I added channel list, waited about 5 minutes and everything was ok. I could see TV from both sats.

load a good channel list to your IRD then do the following:

set DiSQ switch to 1.0 and 22KHz to ON and set committed to 1 for 119W

set DiSQ switch to 1.0 and 22KHz to OFF and set committed to 2 for 110W
