Rolling keys every few seconds

OK, I know charlie does not roll keys for N2 as of yet. And at the peak on N1 he was rolling them every few hours. It is more than likly that charlie will start to roll the keys with N2 because of the Activator 2. What is to keep him from rolling the keys every few seconds. Mainly what I would like to know is did he not roll the keys every few seconds with N1. Was there a hardware limitation, whats the hold up? Granted we can auto roll N1 keys, but why not roll the every few seconds. And why not roll them every few seconds with N1. Please only comment if you have something meaningful to add.

Not to flame you but I don't believe that, leave an N2 Ird out of stream for a few days then put it back. I did this a couple weeks ago (311-sub) and keys had to roll in order to get back to a screen. Error 005, and it only took maybe 20 seconds. As far as N1 rolling the keys every few seconds, there would be constant glitching and delays using N1 cams, as their processing capabilities are much slower than that of N2. If N2 is ever hacked and open to freeware you will see very frequent keychanges.

You got Error 005 with a N2 card? Very interesting if you did as most people don't think that N2 cards would need to roll keys this early in the game. Has this happened to anyone else or can anyone remove thier card from the stream and see if it does in fact happen again?

I'm having the problem n2 rev 101 with 301. I had it out of the streem for a while put it in left it overnight and the keys wouldn't roll. It has no subscription. I was wondering why? I haven't tried it for a while.

Charlie could be seldomly doing this. Ird was 311, left out of stream for about a week, 2 weeks ago roughly...

y cant the Activator allow key changing commands through? is it cuz we dont know what they look like yet? or will it open a back door for charile to exploit?

I have 721 card on back CARD ? Fore models 721 and 921 only . and takes long time roll keys
only 101 channel shows
