how bout ppv and cardless irds

hi all,
i have a few questions. can you watch ppv movies with this? and from my understanding you can't get it if you have a cardless reciever. now i am not a regular subscriber to dishnet but i do have some recivers and some yellow cards. if i hook it up can i just call them and ask them to activate it?

If they match the IRD's and you can get the info screen call dish and ask them to hook you up. They want the R000 and S000 off the infor screen.

If you don't get the info screen they wil probably have to send you new cards but call and ask them anyway, say you got the IRD's from E-Bay and the cards came with them, see what they say and please post here what happens.

This is new to all of us and any information helps people in the same or similar situations.

dish will not activate cards and ird's that have been activated by some1 else,unless they can talk to the peerson who had thm before.not like dtv,lol.

from my understanding you cn not get ppv chaannels just adult because you can subscribe to adult channels as for ppv after the event or movie it shuts off the reason being is that charlie has to pay for the movies on ppv so thats how they keep count when you order the have a to pay a percent out if you can call charlie and ask to open all channels tell them money is no object they will not do it its because thats where they make there money from..correct me if im wrong someone but i think im right i have been in this industry for 11 years

Yes if you order them on a sub then cancel or reduce the sub.
(NOT apparently if you just order a movie, they say the are set to expire when they are sent that way.)

can anyone clarify this.
Suppose you are using the A2 card and downgraded the subscription. You then see a movie on the guide you want to watch can you buy that movie from dish (phone line connected to ird)? in other words will the A2 card block the new purchase as it does deactivation or will it allow it through????

You can order anything you want, it just can not keep the things your order because they are not really onyour tiers and have a start and stop time when sent down the stream.

I don't think you understood.

If you order PPV you will have to pay for it.
The card does not fill up unless you do not have a phone and they let you order on a internal "TAB" like DTV used to do,

there is no way right now to erase that.

can u pull the card out and use the yellow card normal then put the a2 under it and get all the channels or do you have to leave it in there all the time?
