I once wrote over my sub on accident and rewrote a very old copy onto the card. Everything works fine except my locals. Now I used that bin on a 3m and it is wide open except.........the locals. Anyone have any thoughts, sugestions, on how I can fix this would be welcomed.

XLurker, how are you trying to get them now? What area settings are you using? Let's see your procedure.
Also, do you know how to do a line edit in Extreme?

If local info is set on the card, it may take awhile for the stream to make the changes. Not sure exactly how long, but I know it's more than an hour or two.

This all happened around 3 months ago. And I let this card update naturally in the stream. chief : have not done a line edit, and would be willing to learn.texas trophy I will take a look at the card and see what it says. When I did this F up awhile ago I was just glad I had a back-up of this card(last time I read that card was the 0700 to 0800 change)in my archives and it took me 2 days to find it

It is telling me that the 4th byte is invalid, fuse byte is 20df. Can I read the card in extreme or should I try a rom reader? Don't want to lose the bin again.

Open extreme, X, and BOOT your card. Big "B" in the toolbar. If you are running Extreme 3.5 and not an older version, it will fix the 4th byte upon booting.
Make sure you "Shut Down Card" when finished....big arrow in lower right.
