Question about legit subscription

Ok guys, maybe this will sound stupid, but I beg of you to help me out and shed some light on this.

Since free TV is dying out, I'm thinking about paying for a legit sub (don't have any other choice do I?), problem is, I'm not living in the US nor Canada, but in Guatemala.

I'm thinking about calling and giving a US address and my international CC# to pay for the account. Do they ask for something too difficult? like social security #? or something else?

I mean I don't mind paying for the signal, but I'm not sure if they will allow me to subscribe that way.

Just try it and find out. The problem is that they will most likely have to send you a card. I doubt they will ship it to Guatemala.

if you have a buddy in the States, well, them you're home free. You will not be able to connect the phone line either!
