virgin 2700

This is my first post & i don,t want it to be dumb but, i read some where about a 2700 ird. & a rom-11 being a good mate. I fixed a rom-11 & put it in the 2700 & it don,t work all i get is the preview channel 101. This is a virgin 2700 never been in the stream & this is the most informitive site i have had the pleasure of being a member of so if anbody has any idea.s this is da place to find them. Could some one point me in the right direction? thanks a bunch :)

The public keys sem to be your problem if you only get the 'free' channels
Re-program your card with the keys in my sig.

The receiver firmware is probably too old.
Hit the sysinfo button on the remote, that
will tell you the firmware rev.

there was no firmware on the ird, when i did the c\k switch test it down loaded it off the sat. it had nag. that said do not touch until thru down loading. it works fine with a rom-10
