301.010 Dish to Bev problem

Here is what I’ve done – found Bev 3100 bin rev. E430, edited it with Flashedit, entered the IRD number and the box keys, changed the last letter of the build (mine was D and the original was A), checked fix CRC and saved private dump of the bins and eprom. Flashed the receiver and everything seems fine – I see the new logo etc.

The plastic is Rom 10. Loaded BEV image, generated CAM and time zone with Scammer v2, wrote everything –CAM, box keys, time zone etc. The plastic now says rev A81.

Pointed the dish to 91 bird, got 100% signal, inserted the card and… the problems have started. First, the receiver does not recognize the switch, although this is working Dish500. However, It loads the guide but when I go to a channel, the screen is black. PPV says “purchased” and yet black screen again. I left it on the stream all night – powered but turned off from the remote and it did not take an update.

I’m out of ideas, my friends! Any help?

Well you can not use a 3100 in in a 301.10.
You need to get a 301.10 flash from the files and use that, they are different.

Indeed, the propper bin was the problem. After re-flashing the receiver is OK - I mean now it shows the propper screen messages, downloads the guide etc. but when I go to a channel - black screen is all I got. Double checked the CAM, box keys, public keys - they are all fine.

What could I've missed?
