Hey guys,
I was just wondering if you can legally sub Dave and share it friends. I am planning on getting 4 rec. Can this be done? I have no idea about how to setup DTV dish and catching the right angel. I used to do this for charlie. Please advise ...appreciate any replies..

No, not "legally" but it can be done.

Call thm up and tell them you want 4 receivers and they will send them to you. I think it's $5 extra for each receiver.

I am doing that, all you have to do is call dtv and order what you want they will come to your house and install it for free. just have them run lines to 4,5, or even 6 rooms, weather you have tv's in them or not. if they question why you are running lines to rooms without tv's tell them you are going out the next day to buy more tv. when they did mine I had them install 7 lines and 6 receivers, 2 to my tivo, 1 in the dinning room, 1 in my bedroom, 1 in each of the 2 kids rooms and even one in the garage. then I took 2 receivers to one buddy a 2 to another buddy, the only thing is only I can order ppv. And last but not least your buddies must have a dish of their own.

Okay I finally got the DTV to send me recivers and when I tried to setup it for my buddy it does not work. I cannot get the dish to setup at all i cant get it to catch any satellite signal. Did dave put a stop to sharring already. I mean do they have a way of doing that now.

No, Dave didn't stop the sharing. You might have a defective LNB or just not pointed correctly.

Well the dish i got for my buddy is brand new. So only thing left would be pointing it correctly. Will have to get someone to do that for me. Oh also i have a phone line connected to the reciever at my place. Should I disconnect that first and than try to set it up for my buddy at his place. Does this even make a difference...??

The phone line won't make a difference.

Get you a compass and use the numbers that the receiver gives you when you are setting up.

Yeah I really need to give it another try by following the steps carefully again..
