VidMod without taking off board from IRD

Since when do you have to pull the board out of the box to do a vid mod? Only reason to remove the board is if you want to put a hole in the bottom of the case for easier jtagging.

Don't know how you do ur VidMod. According to me you use the 1 trace cut method that is risky...

I've done 5 vidmods and have never had to take the board out of the case. Oops, wait, yes, to cut the hole for my jtag contacts.

While I appreciate the gesture of the file as an alternative method I've done this time and again successfully with the one trace cut. I do agree that the diode option sucks.

For some reason I was assuming we were talking about the 301.13's. After looking at your file lolo, I see that it's for the 5xx models. A lot of folks should find that file very helpfull. Maybe you could rename it to 510 vid mod or something a little more specific. Sorry if you thought I was giving you ego.
