sub a 510pvr

question i have a 510 , you know you have to downgrade the HD to 80gigs to converted to 508 and am using mc2 i know the receiver IRD have no balanced cause when i bought it form ebay i sub then later when i get the mc2 i cancel the IRD that was a year ago so if i now want to sub that ird i just

1. get out the mc2
2. turn off the lock ar105c
3. put on again the old yellow card
4. call charlie

i dont have to married again the ird with the 120gigs HD or put back the backup old original firmware and all that shit????

or i just can get the new activator card swap with the mc2 and i will retain all the channels i have open at the moment ??
