You make it sound so easy.
It is eazy. Just don't plug in the phone lines on the ones that are not in the house.

It is easy...I'm not being a smarta$$........I haved shared sub before...and will do it again soon I hope....As long as no phone lines are in like tiba says. Just split the number of receivers up between everyone who wants to use them. I'll bet this forum is full of sub sharers.....

Ok ther is a new P5 card that is placed in receiver "A" and then is activated by Direct TV . Four months pass and we tell DirectTV that we no longer require that receiver and to end the service. Now a year later we want another working receiver in the house but receiver "A" is gone, though we still have the P5 card that was used in it. Question is .Can we still use that same card in Receiver 'B' and phone up and have it activated and tell Direct TV the new Receiver 'B" info, or do we need to order a new card? If I could phone Direct TV from Canada ,I would and ask them this my self.

Not sure if Dtv would re-activate your card after a year they might want to send you a new card but as far as receivers go they can re- marry cards to receivers.
Basically you call Dtv say you got a new receiver put your current p5 card in receiver and they will re-hit it.
