OK guys I bought an A2 a couple of weeks ago and been having the 019 Error every now and then but I'm not able to get the receiver into Modes 2 or 3. Every time I unplug the receiver and then plug it back in I get the 019 error and then I have to fiddle with the card for a while to get it to work again. If I pull it out and re-insert it, it pretty much does the same thing, so i have not been able to check my card expiration date. I have since pulled the A2 out and haven't changed my programming. I have a 4900 receiver. I have two questions;

1. Is there any other way to check and change your card expiration than the method described in the A2 FAQ?

2. I have another receiver that I was using for testing with the N1 but I don't have a N2 card for it. My 4900 receiver is my legitimate receiver that I keep minimal programming on and use for backup when Charlie is messing up everyones life. I'd like to be able to have only one sub with DN. My question is if I buy a virgin N2 if and when they are available can I program it to match my legitimate card and have it work with a different receiver? This way I can use my test receiver with the A2 and if Charlie finds a way to ECM, my legitimate receiver and card won't be affected.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
