Ok, my posts are dissapearing, so I'll try this another way. Since "milli" posted that we no longer need to worry about the tier expiration, for now, I'm only asking about the "card" expiration date. Is there a way to find a "card" expiration date on a subbed card with an iso programmer? I'm wondering, because I'd rather do that than bother with the mode2 operation on the a2... thanks

You are posting the same thing in several places.

I answered your questions in one of them.

It is a lot easire to pull the plug out 3 times than try to figure out the date in a encripted file.

You don't have to take the card out just pull the plug. Every time you do you get the different mode with the dates in plain english

thought i posted it in the wrong section, so i reposted in this one, for now on, i'll delete the original myself if that happens again, sorry if it confused you... anyway, I've been reading that people with the 301 ird's have been having problems getting into the various modes, so I'm just looking for an alternate solution.

well there are people that have a problem tying their shoes too, or walking and chewing gum at the same time.

We have had like 3 defective cards and the rest either can't read or can't follow directions, the rest is just speculation from people too lazy to look for the information.

Since there are hundreds of cards out there now and only a few have problems I think it is mostly operator error. I had a problem with a tight slot and put a old 745 in and put the cards in the 745 which was a good fit and it worked fine, I don't have to mess with the cards just take the board out. I also got it to work by pulling the plug to see the modes so I can't see any mechanicial problems myself.

Just waiting for the expire date to come up to see a update.

does the 745 board have to have software removed? clean? as i have a shadow II board from back in the day and i am pretty sure it has some software on it, i need to use it the same way as you sj, so i can fit the cards in and just be able to remove the 745 board? also if you have the programming software for the shadow II from back in the day please send me that file, thanks.
