N2 OPEN on DVB Cards!

Card Hack will be worth very little after that (Relatively speaking) since you can buy a complete FTA system for less than $250.

With a DVB you can be subscribed to the sat companies in Europe because they can have a cam installed.

The DVB hack is for Dishnetwork. No not Europe. Yes it is done and all over the net by now.

So for all you "Impossible", "Can't be done because...", or "it would be easier to turn time backwards" "Expert Posters", I suggest you check other websites to catch up to speed.

There seems to be a lot of people here who have a vested interest in solidifying the misconception that a N2 hack in non existent and impossible.

Well no one (dealers, mods or satscams) has confirmed the DVB roumour yet so it is still up in the air and to be considered a scam until proved diferent.

Remember the 'clones' we saved you from buying that have been going black screen for weks, saved you 300 400 500 dollars there (most of you anyway)

When we get more reliable information we will pass it on and maybe even start selling them DVB's.

As for other thing, mili announced it here and not in another thread so if he ain't moving it I sure as hell Ain't going to.

I am usually not worng, and I've been singing this company's praises for about 8 months. I was privy to a file awhile back and I gave it to the right people (Coolsat, Viewsat & pansat) Tonite after being on the phone and helping the Koreans via Email with setup and understanding impementation, These guys have come thru and WILL deliver the very first bin file to decrypt Nag2 for Coolsat! I just got the phone call, and Corporate is falling all over themselves with gratitude for my assistance, but really I didn't do much. It was the coders that worked here behind the scenes and their ideas that made the differnece. Coolsat WILL lead the way into the future with N2
They also say they have the autoroll down as well and not to worry. We will ALL see how it plays out, I only report the news, but tonite I helped make it!

My advise if you have Coolsat load it and play with it and if it works great. I know everyone will be tempted to buy a FTA reciever now that works, but I would wait at least a Week by then maybe one of two things will happen.

Two: something will come out for Plastic/Atmega etc.

Exactly, hell there are still some cool channels left on N1, USA, TOON some FOX and NBC, HBO, etc. Give it a little while, keep that plastic card next to the ISO programmer and who knows one day something might be out for that. Or even better for Atmega!!! or MC??? (little more doubt on the last one:)
but whatever the game might be you ll be back with all the options to choose.

I already had a DVB card setup for N1. Once we found the files it was very simple to replace the plugins and sofkey cam files and it opened N2 with porn, PPV and some international. PM me for the files we used and I will be glad to send them to you. What do you say now naysayers? LMAO!!!!!.

Yes, I can confirm that KrasnelTM.dll does work for DVB in North America.

Some key points:

1. You must have the DLL that has the North American keys in it.
2. If using my theatre, create an MDplugins folder under the root of My Theatre.
3. Put the KRasnelTM.dll and Keys.bin files there.
4. Place the MDwrapper plugin in the Plugins folder.
5. Remove Yanksee, fenir, softcam, nagra file that you used until yesterday.
6. Perhaps not necessary, but rescan your transponders.

The big question will be what happens with the next key change. Are keys being lifted directly from the stream or off cards? If it is coming from the stream it is just a matter of updating the DLL file. IN any event, this has definitely been a good news day

I hope this helps the small minority that have DVB cards get back up and running again.

Well, the DVB is a cardless solution. I fully expected that there would be a plastic hack first and a DVB solution last. In order for DVB to work there has to be an image of the card. Obviously, the card has been dumped. It has to be only a matter of time (days maybe??) that other solutions will present themselves for the regular receivers.

Once the card has been dumped and emulated in a PC, it shouldn't be long before a MC3 or Atmega 256 or whatever is released. My guess is that Mili has his ear to the ground and knows the people who are working on this type of solution. Since these devices replace cards, they are "cardless solutions". Of course, so is DVB. And so is switching off your TV and reading a book.

Time will tell. Good thing I'm on vacation or I'd be tempted to start buying DVB cards! Hopefully by the time I get back Mili will have a good cardless solution in his store.

It's a satellite tuner PC card, that goes into a PCI slot of the PC, so the TV is emulated on the computer. The computer acts as the ird. depending what kind of card it is it can be connected to the TV, like regular ird.

It was zipped but still wouldn't allow for upload. Anyway, I think I replied in another thread about downloading the file from I-D. You can also edit the DLL with a hex editor with the keys that are on this site. I haven't got around to it yet but I will so that I can update the DLL when the keys eventually change.

I noticed a few minutes ago that I had to change the properties of some channels (CNN is one example). If you right click the channel, select properties, change the ECM to 1810 and change the EMM to 1800.

The other thing is make sure that Fenir and Yankse have been removed.

In the MDPlugins folder the only files that should be there are Keys.bin and KrasnalTM.dll

Make sure that you have removed Yankse, Fenir and the nagra and softcam files from the Plugins folder (different than the MDplugins folder).

Guys, I just got my TWINHAN Starbox USB with ProgDVB working for all Nagra2 channels. Sweet.

I downloaded the CAPI and S2-Emu plugins with ProgDVB. I also tested this with my TwinHan PCI card.

I'm having some freezing with my technotrend card as well, is that what was happening with you? I've never been able to get signal with the twinhan I bought, I get voltage to the lnbs but no signal.... I didn't mess with it very long a few months ago because my technotrend worked flawlessly, let me know if you hear of a solution for the TT card and I will do the same.

You don't need the diseqc switch. You can use your DP lnb. But you can not use the dish switch with this.

Set the LOF1 =1125 SWITCH = 0 LOF2=11250
Then do a channel search for which ever dish you selected or have connected.

I thought that the Dishpro LNBs used band stacking. If that is the case, you will need to use a special INI file to scan the satellites. I will try and find it and post it in a text format. Let me know what sats you need (110, 119, 61.5, etc).

I'm not too sure since I haven't used ProgDVB. I think I used it briefly about two years ago when I first started. I'm not sure if they use INI files like mytheatre does or not.

I'd start by looking at how you select sats to scan. If you have the ability in ProgDVB to import satellite settings then you should be able to import the INI file I posted above.

I only have the legacy LNBs so I don't know how the diseq switches work with Dishpro LNBs. I'm sure that there are people out there using the DishPRO LNBs with ProgDVB.

modify 2500.ini for 110, and 2410.ini for 119 (in the Transponders folder) with new setting for the trasponders, the once posted above, both file should have same content. (make you sure you backup the files before any change). then restart progDVB and rescan each LNB.
that should bring all 110,119 channels.

OK. after 10-12 hours total, I got it working but I'm not really sure what I did. Here's a list of what i *think* I did (I'm running ProgDVB 4.55):

1) Downloaded the latest BDA drivers from Kworld (card manufacturer)
2) Set the DiSEQc option to "1.0 or 2.0"
3) Added Echostar7 to LNB1 and Echostar5 to LNB2 (the sat files that came with ProgDVB seem to work just fine) and powered the LNB's.
4) Scanned both satellites/transponders.
5) Added the appropriate plugins.

This seems to work except I'm not getting porn. I believe the keys changed but it's currently impossible to downlaod. Could some one kindly PM me the file or a 'cut&paste' message? Thanks everyone for all your help! This actually a lot of fun.

My only curisoty is will this fix use the 101cam or the 102. It is my feeling that if the 101 has been dumped , its use in a cardless solution will be short lived due to the limited quantities made. No i know that the 102 is wide spread and for dish to replace those would be quite an undertaking.

do i need s2emu at all or just KrasnalTM (which is contained in Capi). when i checked on the KrasnalTM plug-in my keys were empty... so i'm guessing i have to fix that unless s2emu is the n2 equivalent of fenrir. when i put the s2emu.dll and its softcam into either MDPlugins or Plugins mt hangs on startup.

nevermind. got it working last night but couldnt get on here due to high volume. the softcam.key had the date left in the filename and was causing the s2*** plug-in to crash MT. im up running again. can't believe such a small issue caused me so many problems.
