I'm in the process of erasing the flash but i get error messages. I'm in boot to link mode. When i try to erase i get " error detected erasing flash". If i try to program i get "error programmig flash @ offset 0x5000afdc". I have read and saved the flash and rom. I did do the Plakner mod(cut trace and jump FP to GND) last year. Is this mod preventing me from erasing/programming? i thought i read that if i remove jumper from FP to GND and then add a jump from FP to 5v that will allow to erase. am i correct? please help

what is weird is that i can write back the stock flash bin w/o problems but i cant write the nozktdual_unwinked bin. doesnt make sense.

you can write the stock flash back cuase it is the same that is in there, so nothing changes.

with the trace cut, 5v is needed to FP to enable.

No, just save it for in case you need to restore it for some reason............
