Files Needed:
Skystar2 drivers and program (4.2.10)
hXXp://www.bbti.us/ support.htm
Twinhan 1020a drivers and program (2.42a)
hXXp://www.twinhan.com/down.htm PCI-Sat & Sat-CI (VP-1020A/1030A)
Download and extract the drivers and program to your PC first.
Insert card in available PCI slot. If windows does not detect, try another slot.
The following is advanced, and more for troubleshooting. Most can ignore.
(Like most PCI cards, your PC should be setup to handle IRQ's the normal way,
and that is setting Bios up as PIC, not APIC. APIC add's ton's more IRQ's for
use in Windows, and while the idea sounds good, in reality many cards do not
like to work with these non-standard IRQ's. It "may" work fine with APIC. It "will"
work fine with PIC. It is actually a network card, so sharing IRQ's is usually O.K.)

Get MyTheatre up and running with FTA channels before proceeding.
Exit MT.
Install MDwrapper and components per the readme that is included with them.
You will need to manually create a folder called MyTheatre\MDPlugins.
As of May 2004, there is an update that will also need to be installed, (included in pack).
This will update xxxxxx to latest. Follow instructions included.
You should now be able to see all channels on Bev, and soon Dish.
First, just like with other testing, keys need to roll or auto update.
Start MT.
Open side list.
Select a Bev channel from your list, such as CMDY.
If keys are correct, picture will be fine, and you are done with Bev.
If nothing, wait a few minutes to see if keys roll.
You can also check keys status manually, as well as update, as follows.
Right click viewing screen, and select Plugins/MD API Wrapper.
MDWrapper popup window appears.
Click xxxxx and select monitor.
Check out what it shows. CW even and CW odd are the keys.
Close this window, and click xxxx tab next, and show monitor.
This is what will update the keys for you.
On the right is a box checked labeled Analyze.
There should be an asterisk next to it flashing.
Also, upper windows should show a couple boxes checked, with asterisk flashing as well.
If not flashing, or if you want to manually force update, go to main MDWrapper window,
click xxxxx, then check on Active.
This should force keys to update.
Works with both Bev and Dish.
May take a few minutes, and you should then see this screen show new data as it finds the keys.
Close out when done. Everything is automatic. This is usually not needed to be done.
There is a bug in new Yxxxxx that cause Fenrir to grab the wrong key occasionally.
For this reason, we need to disable xxxx until we actually need to update the keys.
Go to your MyTheatre install folder, then MDPlugins folder. Doubleclick xxxx .ini so
that you can edit it. Change disabled from a 0 to a 1, save and exit.
Fenrir will now be disabled by default. To enable, click Fenrir tab in MDPlugins, then Active.
Only do the above after your initial install has completed, keys have rolled or updated, and all is working.
Dish requires one more step.
Open side channel list, and select a Dish channel, such as Echostar 7 ESPN by clicking on it.
Next, right click on that selected channel, and select Properties.
Dish uses both 1800 and 1801, so leaving this at auto will select the wrong one.
We need to change the top screen only to 1800 by clicking on 1800, then apply.
Do nothing more than that, and picture will appear, and you will be done!
If you still see no picture, make sure keys are correct per instructions above.
You must repeat that 1800 step for each Dish channel.
Or, if you have Office and Access installed, you can do the following.
Or, if you have Office and Access installed, you can do the following.

UPDATE (Satellites INNER JOIN Transponders ON Satellites.SatID=Transponders.SatID) INNER JOIN (PIDType RIGHT JOIN
(Favorites RIGHT JOIN (Channels INNER JOIN PIDs ON Channels.CHID=PIDs.CHID) ON Favorites.FavID=Channels.FavID)
ON PIDType.Type=PIDs.Type) ON Transponders.TranspID=Channels.TranspID SET PIDs.Sel = 1
WHERE (((Satellites.Name) Like "echo*") AND ((PIDs.Opt1)=6144) AND ((PIDs.Type)=6));
If I remember correctly, I did the above, and also changed the echo* to Dire* because Echostar 6,8 description
starts with Direct stuff. Anyway it worked. I know nothing about Access, but was able to do this.
Good luck. Or just spend an hour and change each one manually.
After you are done, and all channels come in, I suggest you backup channels.mdb and settings.ini, just in case.
Extra stuff.
The following has helped me, and may help you as well. It is not needed.
Go to MyTheatre settings and make adjustments.
Display tab:
Change status line = Hide in Full Screen
Recordings
Record files to: Click to select a drive or create a folder to store recorded programs into.
IVR/OSD:
Use Generic Video Renderer.
Check Auto show EPG description.
EPG
Uncheck Use DVB Parser
Check External EPG Grabber
Check Parse 7 day DishEPG
Delete events older than 1 day.
Compact upon exit every 0 days.
Compact EPG at Start.
Restart if needed.
Download and install Mike Shappell’s external EPG grabber (dishepg).
Copy dishepg.dll to MyTheatre\Plugins folder.
Replace existing epg.mdb in MyTheatre folder with the one included in download.
Download and install MyEPG for the best guide.
Install by copying myepg.dll into MyTheatre\Plugins folder.
G starts guide. Right click and change options to V. Make sure nothing else is V.
Tinker with remote settings……..
