I remember littlelarryjr making a post a long time ago, stating that the rom 101 cards were indeed being cloned/3m. Weeks later ***toybox made it public. Then he advised the mods here to keep a section open in order for poeple to post new n2 files. This just happened to be days before the FTA files were released for n2. Now he's saying that n2 is getting its ass kicked, and something more will be released by next weekend, why shouldn't I believe him??

I am along the same line of reasoning as t160hq,
the packages suck and they do not let you pick what channels you want and WAY to many commercials on SCIFI and such.
If I get no tv at all I will live. I have way more things to do than get worked up on this. I do it for fun and because of the aforementioned reasons. But to play this signal in my yard card is just to silly for me to justify a ilegal act.

larry, did you save a copy of it before using the 5 card writes? that would be the one to try with the unzip theory, however if no good then you want to see if you can compare the code on the file with 5 cards to go against the one with four cards to go, and see what changed, and you want to be able to manually change that area, should be able to figure it out if tis a winex script. otherwise you need programming software.

ok, let me clarify, I was given a floppy with a script on it, I copied and pasted the script to my desktop. Ran it 5 times(I had no idea it would lock after 5) Now it asks for a password. The guy that gave it to me wants more big money for another 5 runs. I even checked the floppy it came from and the floppy is now empty. The guy told me not to fuck with the password because it will delete the file from my pc just like the copy and paste did from the floppy. He said that the floppy is a one use only disc, meaning that after copied once the disc will reformat itself which it did.

Now though I am kinda nervous to fuck with the script as I dont want to loose it off my pc.

what is the modified date on the script file itself? (right click/properties) if it's around the time you copied it over that means you're looking for other files or registry entries. if it is modified to around the time you last used it, well then look at the script.

tried to look at that, but everytime I right click on the file the date and time changes to what it is right now.

why not try a file recovery, undelete program on the diskette and try and recover it. The only way it would be totally gone is if a low level format or was written over with another file.

ok that is messed up. sounds like you got some crap running in the background if this is real. what happens if you boot into safe mode? does the date keep changing then? maybe then you can copy it? a more advanced way is to look at your process list and see if any funny processes are running. or better yet use a linux boot disk.

gotta call bullshit floppys dont just erase them self only way possible if you left the floppy in while running the script. after 5 cards it just quits only way is registry string erase the string, use it on another pc, or reinstall the os.

im not getting in the middle of anything here but it is true they make 3.5 floppys and they make cds which are called WRITE ONCE READ ONCE i know cause my job using them when installing new machines so they dont need to worry about where the disk went after they transfered the info from old machine to new. Network is firewalled no file transfers so this is how they do it..

Yes almost any media can selfdestruct after one use.
Try using the original file you copied to the computer make it read only then copy it or burn it to a cd. After try it at another computer but first install on eof the trila based or free registry trackers that will monitor the registry so when keys change you will know what key changed and since it changes 5 times it should be simple to find a key that changed evertime you used the app.

Now that I did my part in helping something that does not sound very promissing "and if it does I'll change this statement" what in the world does this do???
