Legacy Dish QUAD LNB for FTA - does it work - yes or no?
No. Legacy lng's w/ internal switches will not work. However, Dish pro lnb's w/ internal switches will work. Legacy lnb's w/out internal switches will work, but you can't use sw21 switch. Just connect one single legacy lnb to the diseq switch for 119, and one for 110. then your good to go!

Yes Legacy (with internal switches) will work any lmb pretty much will work it’s actually ezzer to us a legacy than a pro (have a dvb pci card and a fortec working with one) and 2 dn boxes no diseq switch needed. Just get the right settings and you are good to go

Yes. It will work. Use the Legacy 110 119 channel list. Only need to run one feed from the Quad

Yep, works like a charm! Have had no problems with the stream change; my legacy LNB still works great!

Just wondering if someone could help a Newbie finding a
"Legacy 110/119 Channel List"! Also does someone happen
to have the specifics used for a PanSat 2500A while using
a Legacy internal switch LNB???
Thanks in advance,
SuperDud
PS - The reason why I'm asking is because people are stating a
Legacy LNB will and will NOT work???? Just want to try it out for
myself to put the confusion to rest (Atleast for my purpose)...

Okay you guys say that a Legacy twin with bulit in sw21 switches does work with fta boxes.Just plug in cable from one side does it matter which side? and someone also said you you just need the correct setting ! What are they?...Now I have read that the voltage on FTA are not enough to use dishnet lnb with swiches other than the dish Pro 500 model with some software tweaking. Any answer to all the above would clear up a lot crap!r

No, it will not work with a FTA, you need a dishpro doble lnb (the one with the black sticker that saids DP.
It will work with a single satellite (almost always 119) if you want both with one losing the signal in one or the other you need the DP.
Trust me I spent almost a week trying to make it work.
By a DP for @ 20 dol on EBAY.

Ok, I'd like to know what the settings are for using a dishpro quad. I've found that you can get some of the channels but not all. I am using pansat 2500a.

So, you absolutley have to use a dishpro channel list in order to get all channels using dishpro lnb? When I do a blind scan without a list, I only get some of the channels...not all.

if you have dishpro lnb, best to use dp channel list,
been running my coolsat with a legacy quad, legacy channel list, no problems here, once in a while get a channel that takes a couple of seconds to load , but other than that works great
