I am going to assume that you are talking a DN superdish.....if that is the case then yes it will work. I have been running one for the last year with no troubles. If it is already set to the correct sats then you are good to go, but if you are installing it, it can be a bit tricky to lok everything into place.

How did you connect the SuperDish to your fta: via DP34 or the DPP44? I have superdish with DPP44 and have difficulties witht he signal form 119 and 121. The 110 is fine. Any idea how to setup the sats in the fta menu? Thanks

Shit, I had to re-type this msg - something f*ed up. Anywho, here goes again (this time I'm copying it before submitting this reply - just incase).
I have the exact same setup: Superdish 121 with DP44 switch.
You cannot use the DP44 switch w/an FTA receiver. You need a DiSeqC switch ($8 in Toronto). The DiSeqC switch can take 4 LNB feeds and provides 1 output to a FTA receiver.
connect 110 to port A of the DiSeqC switch, connect 119 to Port B, 121 to Port c. Then the output to the FTA receiver.
Digiwave specifically (thats what I have), I setup Antenna A with 110 (fixed) and DiSeqC to Port A.
Antenna B - 119 fixed, DiSeqC to Port B.
Antenna C - 121 fixed, DiSeqC to Port C.
Then do a search for each antenna or all Satellites. that should pull in everything for you.
I believe the Superdish LNBs have dual feed capabilities (not 100% but I know the 110 LNB has to 2. If all LNBs have dual feeds then you can run 3 more RG-6 cables (keeping the existing DP44 switch intact - once the DN receivers are backup, you won't need to go on the roof). and run these 3 cables to the DiSeqC switch.
Good Luck!

well i cant get on the roof, is there a way I can take the current DP44 switch line and attach something that demultiplexes or converts the signals into a form so that I can connect a DiSeqC switch indoor?

It'd be easier to do it outside because then you only need to bring 1 cable into your house. Unfortunately, I have not seen an occurance where you can get it going with a DP34/44. You will need the DiSeqC switch. You'll need to do some work to get your freeTv again.
Perhaps do it once now so you won't have to do it again (hopefully).
