Call me parniod but I think a guy that would put nukes in our backyard would not hesitate to switch and go biological in a heartbeat.

You couldn't create a better diversion than a natural disaster for this.

I don't think the first rate health care in cuba was intended. Just a by product of other endevors. The only real problem with a poor countries sub for nukes is delivery. Inviting 1100 delivery units into the country is pretty stupid. Even for someone as incompentent as the current adminstration.

I just wonder when and what the next great event will be in our lifetime, not current stuff like Iraq and Katrina but along the lines of Holucaust or Hirosihma I am talking GLOBAL event that will change life as we know it.
The doctor therory is a good one. Imagine if just a few of them infected thier patients whith something.

I still think they should have shot Ted K. instead of "whats his face"

I know what your saying but the are just doctors wanting to help . I saw a interview with two of them they are hurricane specialist. Last year Cuba had category 5 storm an lost no one they made everyone evacuate an took the pets an fridges so they had to leave.
There is enough biological messes made by dropping the ball on evacuation If the states gets hit with another category 3to 5 storm your going to need all the help you can get.

What would they be needed for? There are no mass epidemics or large amounts of injuries that would require the doctors. All the problems are well within the control of the medical teams on hand. The doctors are not needed so why is it wrong not to not accept them?

hell... we (Canada) just sent 3 naval ships to help our american cousins and they have been told not even to unload the cargo as they are of no need at this point!

Just keep sending us cheap oil. I may not be able to vacation on the French Riviera this year because it is costing so much to fill up my Hummers. The situation is becoming desperate.

USA has been boycotting everything Cuban since the mid 1960's. Part of that whole Castro/CIA conflict thing involving soviet missles pointed at mainland USA. Hey, at least we don't have undercover CIA operatives down there burning the sugarcane fields anymore. (I don't think, but you never know under this administration) And all those baseballs that are made in Cuba, they have to be shipped to the Dominican Republic before the USA will buy them.

Can"t argue with that logic

Of course if we did need them we would still refuse, but until then, thank goodness for plausible deniability.

Its easy to refuse help when you are sitting in a CUSHY leather chair Smoking a BIG FAT CUBAN CIGAR
