New patch files (no clone Kill code) will be released tomorrow for Fortec and Pansat Receivers. Good NEWS!!
"Release date and time are subject to change without notice."
WARNING: We will NOT release the patches without testing them first. We caution EVERYONE! not to load ANY new patches on their machines without it first being verified. And we do not mean by some third party who knows someone etc.. We just went through a "Trusted" website and so called "Trusted" individuals who said the 251 file was good. And look at the results.

I am using a Fortec Ultra. I am watching what seems like N2 cause as of August 31's I never had these channels. What should I look for and how long does it take for this "time Bomb" to go off. Thanks

If you have the newer pansat 2500 model there is nothing to worry about. If you have an older one or a clone there is a 99.9 percent chance your receiver will be destroyed

No I dont have a Pansat, I have a Fortec Ultra. The original. No Copy. So I should be ok then. From your experience, can you tell if I did have a clone what is the time that this would damage my system. Just in case there is a bomb in this.

if you bought in Toronto, one way to tell from experience and others that have told me is an Original FTA will come in a box from the manfc. The clones usualy dont have boxes and all the fancy lables attached. Also another thing is the price, I know that the cheaper the system the cheaper it was to make so that's how the clones came around. At the end all you can't tell a clone even if it slaped you in the face.

Yes I agree with you. with clone you always get box without any label on it. sometimes they use U-Haul Boxes.
make sure when you buy, ask them if this orginal box sealed. if they said so. that mean you safe. good to go...
