500's freezing

To start with Activations don't freeze , only 3M's do ..
I would say it is a dish problem .. You say your other IRD is fine ..
I am taking a guess that you have a dual LNB and one has gone bad ...

Did you put anything like tier locking on?? For nozkt mods a pure activation should work fine.......

If you're getting freezing with activation and your signal strength
is strong on all transponders then chances are your card has some
corruption. Trying cleaning it thoroughly with the new smartclean 1.5
and apply a good bin and start over. Good luck.

iam using activation with my moded ird (420)...all the channels work eccept for the 500's...one or two come in but the others freeze..if iam switching channels one by one starting with 500 the same frozen picture that was on 500 will be on the other channels...if i leave it on a frozen channel it will go shearching for sat signal in about 10 seconds...iam sure its not a dish because my other ird (hughes) works fine..like i said only freezes on 500's.....ppv's and everything else works great...
any ideas would really help..

Like I said , ACTIVATIONS DO NOT FREEZE !
If you are having that problem with your Act it is most likely a bad LNB , cable , something in the way of the dish or IRD itself .. You did say it was searching for signal , you can clean all you want to but I doubt it will help ...
Check that other stuff out first ..

I agreee with 4x here, do a good dish realignment, get the signal strength up as high as possible, not all transponders are the same strength, so the one you are using to align with, adjust alignment to get the highest reading you can with it.
