ooops, I missread, no serial port on a pc??? wow, don't think you can use parallel, if you have another pc or laptop, but you will need serial to load the pansat, no other way around it I know of

hi, i had the same prob. search in google for a r232-usb they range from 12 to 25 $ . all it is , is an adapter to plug in your usb port. hope this was helpful

yes belkin makes those usb to serial adapters but it may not work......some hu loaders/programmers wouldnt work with those as i remember...however...my trusty Detonator did on a toshiba laptop that only had usb ports on it
