Is there a way to hookup more than 4 LNB's to a Coolsat4000pro?
I have all 4 inputs being used on my switch. Can they be stacked someway?

You can use a 0-22k switch between the DiSeQc and the lnb`s. So you have port 1 (or A) with 22k on to one lnb and port 1 with 22k off to a second lnb. With four 22k switches, one on each DiSeQc port, you can have 8 lnbs. At least it works on my pansat and I assume it will work on coolsat.

for us fta newbies could someone elaborate on the 0-22k switch (maybe a picture)....totally unfamiliar with that switch....personally i can't see myself needing more than 4 sat feeds but ya never know......rather than starting another thread i'll also ask....will fta be able to handle bev and dish on one receiver if/when bev becomes fta available...thnx in advance....(general question, but i'm specifically interested in coolsat if that makes a difference)...

spanga -
Can you tell me more about the 0-22k switch ?
Is that the SW21 switch? Or is it the 2X1 DiSEqC switch?

A 0-22k switch is really just an A-B switch that your receiver controls. Normally in your sat setup page of your receiver, there will be a setting, 22k off or 22k on. For an example, 110 might be DiSEqC #1 and 22K on. Then 119 could be DiSEqC #1 and 22K off. It looks similar to a SW21 or 2X1 DiSEqC, but is different. Search fleabay for 22k switch, there may be a pic there. As a footnote, I prefer to use the 22k switch rather than the DisEqC if I only want 2 sats, such as 110 & 119. The 22k switch is much more reliable IMHO. Hope this helps.

In the days of Nag1, the same bin decrypted BEV and Dish. So you could have 91,110,119,121, etc all on one receiver. It would seem that with Nag2, this would also be possible when the rom 102 is cracked, but that remains to be seen.

A word of advice, if you have any universal lnbs in your setup, be carefull how to hookem up.
Universal must have 22khz on for high band that's in use in NA.
Good luck, you will need it.

Follow up: Fleabay has them under 22khz switch. I have never worked with DTV, but I understand a 2 to1 dtv switch also works. Just FYI if anyone interested.
