Download Error message Lifetime Ultra

hello

i have tried to download the new N2 bin on my lifetime ultra.......i connect the cable from my computer to the reciever and then start Al7Bar Downloading Tool v1.31 and put in my com port number and type in Lifetime Ultra in the model box and then selsct the bin and hit send......i keep getting and error messeage which reads.....

Error: Model Name does not correct

that is word for word.......any help would be greatly appriciated......also i did download the 279 bin yesterday and all went well with the download......except TV didn't last but 30 minutes......LOL......if anyone has run into this ...your help would be greatly appreciated......

i am using Al7Bar Downloading Tool v1.31........i have now done a factory reset and all the reciever will do now is display on.......can't get anything to d/l on it....any suggestios???....i also took a brand new fortec lifetime ultra out of the box.......to try and load the new flash on it and got the same error message......i can't understand....it done fine yesterday loading the 279 bin....what loader did you use to load yours.....ok.....update......would the wrong file format cause this???? i found the same file with a different format and tried that.......now the program will accept the model and go into the download mode....but it still won't download anything....the download status bar comes up but it just sits there.....anyone have any ideas????

Forecstar STB Loader ver 3.2.1...

I've also come across a couple of differrent 281 Bins (supposedly working for the Lifetime Ultra) but only the of them seems to upload up properly for me, and still no sound or video...I'll keep trying and I'll update this thread when I find a GOOD working bin...

ok thanks for your reply.........right now i am doing a sat scan on 110 for all channels....i am gonna do the same on 119........i am getting channels displayed on the reciever now.....i will try that and see what happens........

i tried al7bar 1.31 its works fine for me

FortecStar Loader v.3.31, you can get it from Fortec site, just to be sure you are going to get the right one.

Settings for you loader need to be set to Key:Globle or use the blacklist flasher this little info came from the one that modded the bin for the new fix, thank Yono

where can i find the latest bin for the ultra, which will llow manual input of N2 keys? I know 284 does but that killed my ultra which i have yet to get back up and running, so i'm looking for a more friendly bin for my other ultra. Thanks

Sme bins take the BlacklistUploader.the fortec brand loader is for factory use,that's why you get the error message,model does not match model does not change,ect,ect.
