I download 279. after 10 mins died. I hate that I have to jtag. will try 281. do I need to flash factory first before flash 281???

Will upload better if you do that, just remember (I heard this) Scan All should be the best to do after you upload bin 2.81). :)

Please help! I can't get lifetime ultra to flash! It will begin but then will stop and say 'flash write failed' ER1'. I tried loading the boot file but i still can't get a bin on it after the boot file is loaded.

When you say you hate to jtag, what you mean? doesnt it have serial?

Why are you messing with the boot file? Are you trying to JTag the receiver? Try Wall.exe and JKeys.
Uploading bin? Try another uploader, like BL 1.4

I wasn't jtagging. I was tring to load the new bin! I eventually got it after many attempts with different loaders. never found BL 1.4. I never got a channel list to load using gtools so i had to scan.
