Is FTA a good investment? What I mean is it safe to assume that N2 will be possible on FTA aslong as it is possible on real IRD's or DVB? Did FTA work with N1 for quite a while? The thing is it seems with real IRD's you have to buy a new system every so often (like atmega/etc) where as it seems like you get a FTA and you dont even have to open it and can just update software and that's it.

Thanks,

between FTA and testing plastic, FTA is alot more simple, less work and cheaper right now ... unless you love to test then you go with plastic. If not I say stuck with FTA

I just for a DVB card running today. Not bad for $75, was woth it to me. But spending $150-300 on a true FTA reciever is not worh it to me. I need my PVR and a DVB card can do that no problem...
