DirectTV Dish Pointing Need Help!!

I am sharing an account with my father which lives in Georgia, and I am in North Carolina. I just installed my dish and had no idea where to point it, after about an hour I got a signal close to where my old dish network dish was pointing. I think it is around 110. The problem now is that I am not getting the local Atlanta Channels. Is this due to my receiver or do I need another dish pointing at another satelite? If so which one? Do I need a switch? Which one.... help I need ABC, NBC, CBS.... don't care if it's Atlanta channels. My wife needs her desparate Housewifes show coming up next sunday

for dtv you need to point to 101
for locals you need a dieh point at 119 diff transponder then dish but same area
and ird must suport multi dish settings If you have the dish with three lnb's you can use it use sat calc to get skew and azimuth and elev for your area.

I understand that locals are in Raleigh, but the account holder = My Father lives in Atlanta and I am sharing on his account. Thus the locals will be Atlanta! Right? Right

Ok now, how do I get those local Atlanta Channels on my dish here in North Carolina? Do I need another dish pointing at 101? I am lost on this, I dont understand DTV birds.

The other reply said I needed another IRD, currently I am using a RCA DRD102RW
Which I think is a piece of crap. Should I get another receiver? WIll that give me the local Atlanta Channels?

You won't get them where you are the locals are spot beamed for his area which is Georgia you being in North Carolina can not pick up the spot beam locals from Atlanta.... :rolleyes:
