Normally, Access Violation Error - delete settings.ini and it will make a new one for you, you'll lose all your settings but all the channels will still be there. This is why it is a good idea to make a backup copy of settings.ini file!

Since you reinstalled MT not sure what to say ...

My Theatre does not support Win98 so id that is your OS that is a problem.

I had the problem you are experiencing quite a few months ago and I am trying to recall what I did to fix it. I think I started mytheatre offline and then changed the channel.

If I can recall what I did I'll post the solution for you.

Well I thought I found the problem- I thought the visiontv software that came with the twinhan 1020a was causing interference so I uninstalled it a tried to disable it. Which worked for a couple hours last night- When I turned on the monitor this morning its had the error access mess again.
I was trying to use the keygen by FFF which worked before but I couldn't get it to work last night. So I just decided to pay for the software but It wouldn't let me use my credit card because the only 2 emails I have are hotmail and netzero, and it said I need not free email addy-- But I paid for my netzero? So I can't do that. Unless I want to send a money order or something!! When I did try and install It did say it coudn't install the dvbcore.dll file. but when I look in the mytheatre file it is there?

Bigswifty - I tried deleting mt settings.ini and It worked up untill I selected a channel then the error message.

XP Home edition
After I installed I only added the files-
PlugIns folder
MyEPG.DLL
S2emu.dll (v1.18)
(no other files in this folder)
MDPlugIns folder
[no files]
MyTheatre (root folder)
SoftCam.key (9/14/05)

Thanks for the help in advance!!

Hey Sukh77 !! I was getting the same thing after I rescan the 119 bird I came to the conclusion it was in some of the channels that was downloaded so I deleted any and all channels that looked suspicious. After doing so I'm watching tv without any problems with Mytheatre and was able to record as usual. Haven't had it pop up again and I purposely left it on all day today without any problems. Just my input. Have a Great Day!!

Mine craped out after 1 hr. I have not been able to do the crack. Did you do anything else Tiger. I got the files patched but the limit doesn't go away.

Buzz - You might have mulitple instances running. Do this; CTRL+ALT+DEL select PROCESSES check to see if you have MT running. If you do then do a end process on it.

I was getting an Access Violation if I let MT sit on a channel for many hours. This went away once I cleaned out old codecs and installed a newer set. Latest set I found was at hxxp://www.dvbsoft.net/download.php?view.543 (replace hxxp with http). Good Luck!

I think when you are recording at night or got a timer set it doesn't close its self completely.
