Coolsat pro 4000 Setup Problem

Here's what's going on...
Receiver Model--------------Coolsat 4000 pro
Software Version------------134p
Using ProLoader I have 'nothing' in the keys section
Channel Guide : Working 5.2 DPCoolSat.ndf
STB copy _____________?????
Diseqc Settings-------------110 on LNB 1 119 on LNB2
Dish/Dish's------------------DISH 500
Lnb/Lnb's------------------- Dual Dish LNB’s 110 & 119
Network/Satellite-----------110 and 119
Description of problem---- Not receiving all channels
i.e. on 119 Ch 168 Country TV Level 89% Quality 5%
Ch 135 BBC America - Level 89 Quality 4
No Fox News or many other channels
I have tried - Auto and manual scans


Sat Settings:
Sat 119
I have the LNB Power ON
LNB Type Single
LNB Freq 11.250
22Khz Off
DiSEq 1.0
Commited 2

(For Sat 110 I have the same settings but Commited 1)

I know I'm doing something wrong 'cause my friend has the same setup and he is receiving the channels I don't get..

Please help me get a little smarter...

You didn't say what lnb you have? DP-Twin or single with sw-21 switch?

If DP-Twin the 119 must be committed to lnb 1, and 110 on 2

If Single Legacy lnb's with a sw-21 switch, then replace the switch with a diseqc switch.....119 on inpu 1 and 110 on input 2 of the switch.

If you have a Legacy Twin, this this will not work with fta....you will not get all the transponders....

Did you load a channel list? If not run a Auto Scan, when you get your connections correct.....

I have the Dish 500 2 LNB setup. I tried putting 119 on LNB 1 and 110 on LNB 2 auto re-scanned both sats. and it was worse...

The channel guise I'm using is : Working 5.2 DPCoolSat.ndf

Nothing entered in "keys' box

Did auto scan on both satellites.

I appreciate any more adeas...

Try a different channel list. The one you are using now is for Dish Pro LNB's. If your LNB does not have a DP on the casing, then you must use a Legacy channel list.

Also, use ''blind scan''. It will give you a better channel selection.
