N2 progress being made... Viewsat first to deliver! C & P

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've been testing for Viewsat a bit more lately as they've proven to be the most honest of the BIG 3. They've delivered more improvements and spent more time in R&D than the other 2 combined. When they had a problem with a bin that damaged their units, the owner replaced the units free of charge. Today I've been testing a new version V69, and it is not only the smoothest running bin they ever released, but it is the FIRST to offer user control of key editting via remote. Upon initial testing I had no clue what I was lookin at, but the code screen now shows 6 line of code in the key area. I know very little about this so far other than YOU can manually enter N2 keys IF they change again! This is a significant improvement over having to wait for a new flash everytime the keys change, and I'm fairly sure their research will lead them to auto-roll. Below is a sample explanation of how 4 lines make up the 2 keys.

Provider Name : Dish
Provider ID : 01 01

Opkey0
key index : 08
- xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx : first 8 bytes of 16 bytes
key index : 09
- xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx : second 8 bytes of 16 bytes

Opkey1
key index : 88
- xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx : first 8 bytes of 16 bytes
key index : 89
- xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx : second 8 bytes of 16 bytes

I'd like to hear from you testers out there that have a Viewsat about this flash. I am surely not qualified enough for advanced testing and understanding of all that transpired to bring us this FIRST ever break thru.
Look for more new releases as this bnox flexes it's muscle and shows it's flexibility. the new flash is some 1000 bytes larger than the last, and who knows what size it can grow to. A newly improved Blind Scan is also in the works. Thanks for leading the way and the continued support Viewsat!

Happy testing from your "Shining Star of FTA"
