I have read a lot of post on fta's but nobody has said of a good place to buy from.
pansat or coolsat is also something that is tuff to decide.

I'd go with coolsat for sure. Pansat put some clone killing software in their bins that took out some genuine units.

coolsat or pansat 3500.....go with what will probably be supported the longest...or....go get a cheapo clone and risk having it killed in the near future

Wait a few more weeks, the coolsat 5000 is coming next month.
Coolsat pro 4000 will discontinue.
