Hey,
A buddy gave me a Techsat FTA that he got from a friend of his. It looks like a pretty cool rig. I fired it up but I don't really know where to start. I googled and found an N2 bin for it. It did come with a null modem serial cable but no software to update it. There are many settings for channels, lnb's etc that look very foreign to me. I'm well versed in plastic, emu, etc for Dave and Charlie but this looks pretty weird... Will my Dish 500 legacy lnb's with seperate SW64 work with it? Do I need a Disceq switch and different lnb's? Where can I get needed software? Can I do a switch check somehow? Can I check signal level? Any help is appreciated.
