DTV?? whats hapening?

i used to test the HU cards but since they went down i havent done anything, i bascily just watched cable....but its been a wile and i was wondering is there anything new hapening? is there anyway to get free DTV again?

Blind Mans 3M using the HU card still works great!

All channels ............ audio only.
Good for getting PPV fights and NFL Sunday Ticket and music channels, etc.
Also, if you are blind .... everything works perfectly like it once did. Ha ha.
I use the audio from NFL football with the video from a TV network game and watch a free version of the NFL Sunday ticket. You'll get use to the missmatch.
You actually get two games worth of TV data at the same time. It works for me. Anyone else doing this? If you use BM3M with C Band you have another hack that still works.

Whoops, I had a brain fart.
I have been using the H card to do my Blind Mans 3M.
Although, I'm sure the HU now works good as well.
Use a once working (now dead) H card activation file.
Roll updates back to 26
Edit three bytes in the eprom file then load the card.

Niknak you got that file, I have a couple H and about 6 Hu's pounding the pouch here, audio is better than nothing, I like the radio for NFL games etc.

If you had the fix up to the last couple of months before it went off, your card will still work. You don't remember how long they worked before the changed? 3months with no problem. Then no more., not zapped, shit I need a new fix. But the sound does not work on all boxes. I have 4 Phillips 5500 we use to listen to PPV fights etc. But for some reason, the perfect setup for the blind, just will not sell. I have hit up people, ran ads, even had a neighbor that was blind and couldn't close the deal! Shit if I was blind I would buy one.

Not sure if anyone still needs the procedure for making the "Blind Mans 3M" using the H card. You don't need any special files (as requested earlier) if you kept a once working H card activation bin is all you need for a file. My BM3M has never stopped working, I use it for my NFL football game needs. It may not work with all IRD's. I do know it works on maybe all older Sony IRD's. I use the Sony B50 and it works great.

The procedure to get Blind Mans 3M working with the H card is very easy and very simple if you kept your H card programming hardware and have one old but complete H bin file.

1. You need a valid H card bin. One that once worked in activation mode. Any amount of tiers with any update number. Even H BS cards will work if you have the H/W to restore the damaged boot sector.
2. Load the H card activation bin file, ready to edit.
3. Roll the H card updates back to 26.
4. Rezero the IRD S/N in 4 eprom locations. (Don't think you need to do this).
4. Edit 3 bytes in the eprom source bin as follows:
8D6B: 38
8DDF: 45 00
5. Update (rewrite) your H card eprom with these changes.

Bingo .......... go watch Blind Mans 3M.

I am astonished at the results peeps are getting with the DISH FTA.
Does anyone know why this works? What's the basic concept, i.e., how does it get around the data encryption to get most if not all DISH channels including PPV? Wrong room for this but I haven't found where someone explains this question in concept form. Just interested in the technical info. Don't need the hacking work.

I have no desire to start hacking again. BM3M is not hacking ........ it's something that just works and works and works .......

Everyone needs to have a H card BM3M, a great reminder of the "good ole days". Too bad you got to be blind to appriciate this trully amazing hack thats lasted this long.
