Currently using a Coolsat 4000 pro with a 4X1 switch. Sat 119 on LNB 1, 110 on LNB 2. I have a 31" motorized HH dish doing nothing. Can I use LNB 3 for the motorized dish along with the 2 stationary dishs? Thanks.

Why are you not using the motor??? With that you only need 1 LNB!!! Look for Crows tutorial about setting up with a motor!!!

right...the idea behind the desqc switch is that it switches you between lnb's with a stationary dish......with a motorized dish......the desqc switch becomes obsolete....remove it...as do multiple lnbs except for using a linear ku lnb because of the frequency changes with some satellites..sadoun.com has some great advice for setting up a motorized system....thats their business,not a sideline

Even if you want both C & L polarity, you still only need one dish. The problem is that you require the new Invacom Quad LNB. If I remember correctly, it's a QPH-031.

I wasn't using the motorized dish as I was committed to using either circular or linear LNB's. I was not aware of a single C&L Lnb being available.
Thanks for the info Ghengis. Any experience using this LNB? I'm ordering one today.

Hi Why not just use the stationary dishes for 110/119 and use HH for other birds that`s what I do I have mine set like this ;

disqc #1/119w
disqc #2/110w
disqc #3/121w/148w/123w/97w/ and a few others on HH motor works good for me.
my hh is a universal ku lnbon a 33" dish frequency set at 10600 .
good luck

The only reason I got it was to combine C & L on the same motorized dish, and I think it's probably the best LNB on the market by far for my purposes.

It has the traditional Invacom's low noise of 0.3 dB (as compared to 0.6 and higher for "normal" dedicated LNB's.

If you live in an area with great signal, the noise doesn't really matter much, but if you're like me, live in the middle of nowhere, and are on the fringe of getting satellite reception, every little bit helps.

It has four outputs (2 circular, and 2 Linear), and IMO is quite a technological acheivement.
