Install new card warning

I had a friends sub He was sent a new card I got the install new card warning same as he did.My HU card went down with his. He installed his new cardP4. He is fine. I got another friends sub I read it in hu cleaned my card and wrote his bin to my card. I get the install new card warning but he has not received a p4 card and he dosen't have the warning on his screen. I have searched and read can't find any thing I hope I am in the right place this is my first post

Did you unplug and reboot the IRD , if not do it ..
If that doesn't work unplug it overnight and try again tomorrow ..
It will deplete the memory in the IRD and should work ...

I have rebooted but not over nite I'll try that to night. I did try a new receiver that had never been used it gave the same message

I left the receiver unpluged all nite that did not work

I cleaned card with Superclean 3.5 still there
am I the only one that has this happen. It's a nag having that pasted across the screen. Sure hope you Pros can help.

Don't just clean the card, unloop it and write the new bin to it, see if that will clear it up......

I have s Soney B3 which I hard booted several times.
I also have a rca 420 that had never been used it does the samething. Where is this memory card or ird I think it was put on one or the other when first Sub went down. what settings did you use on your soney.
