i am getting this message "program protected rated tv-14" or something to that affect... only on certain shows cuz i can watch same channel with a different program on.. i checked and rechecked my rating settings and they are all fine so i thought i'd ask the experts.. all you guys that is.. thanx

Your locks and limits setting is either off or corrupted. That message usually comes up if your kids are trying to get into the porn when they shouldn't.

Not sure what you can do to reset it. try your user guide or google it for adjusting locks and limits

Jtag and create a new virgin eeprom and then reset your settings and locks if need be.

Never mind, I just read your SECOND posting on your problem and you have a DTV subscription. Disregard what I had originally posted.
