I am 3 weeks old with coolsat 4000 pro. Got everything working on 110/119/148. But it is painfully slow providing the guide and also does not provide future info beyond half an hour or an hour. Channels are also slow to load. It will go through "scramble channel" after couple of minutes the same channel will work. I am just wondering if this is a normal behaviour or 'am missing something? Please help.
Regards
The guide is slow and only show about an hour of info. Those are normal.
Channels should load within 1 or 2 seconds. Try another channel list. Or do a factory reset and blind scan.
What dish and LNB are you using ?

I have dish 500 for 110/119 and one single dish for 148.

Mikey....What LNBs are you using?? I was having the same problems with a dish 500 Legacy LNB...slow channel change, scambled channels nag, slow or no EPG.... then I switched to a DP Twin LNB....amazing difference....channels lock right on, no "rocking" back & forth, and the EPG works well (not as well as DN's, but you can live with it).
BTW...If you change to DP LNB's make sure you use a DP channel list.
Good Luck

I was having the same problem, nag, scrambled channel, no information and changed my LMB's from legacy ones to the DP Twin LNB I had sitting around. Immediately I noticed that my signal strength went up 10-15 units on both of the satellites. In addition, the EPG now gets information on 75% of the channels and (before 15%) and I get 2x as many channels. I am now getting around 80 signal strength on my coolsat. I am going to try and change me cable to the underground stuff, if I can find some!
