AVR-X has it's own forum and syndrome is in the general dish & Bev forum

Members of this site have in their possesion AVR-x cards and can confirm they do work as advertised. None of the mods nor the admin here have ever seen a Syndrome card. I would say there is only one legitimate alternative to the DVB/FTA scene.
