This file is posted all over the net-n2Atmegav3- any one try it? Any luck??

Yes, I tried it.

Using a 301/3100 reg id 010.

I followed "all" of the directions, including modifying my IRDs to their IDs and BOX Keys.

After loading N2.pfg into jeepers, typing in the new IRD code and box keys (there were no 'keys' and CAM ID) and doing a full monty, I was able to tune in the 'information channels', all other channels were listed in the guide, however, when selected, they produced a 'blank' black screen (no pictue, no sound)

I decided to leave it on channel 101 and give it a chance to download from DN.

After a little while, I received the ECM message "A serious fault has been.......etc...etc....etc

Adfefinite flop. Nothing pertaining to N2. Everything functioned as though I had made no changes from N1.

Thanks for the info. Why do guys post fixes if it"s a load of B.S?. Waste of time as far as I am concerned. I assumed we all work togather?

I would like to test a thought that I have. I need someone who has a syndrome to attach the .syp file that is created by the new software. This could be atmega related.

just download the Syndrome software yourself, it was release at CardCoders.org in the applications section this morning

Thanks, I got that but you need a syndrome card to generate the syp file and I don't have one.

I believe CC said that was a R-3...Forget about it...! could be wrong have not looked at it yet. If something happens for the Mega (standard) you prob won't be able to acces a single site( too crowded) that will be the tip off...hehehe...LMAO...!

Forgot to mention don't forget to "Backup" your tsop when fooling around with this files. You just never know.

Who said anything bout free tv! It just pisses me off that someone finds a file or fix, does not confirm it working , and plays the hero claiming a fix!! Some peoples kids!! Other than that, its trying to snow and I got my sled ready. Let it snow!!

I agree with you.. but, I think that jsut being hit by an ECM is a good thing.. the program do something (the guide...) and the TSOP software must thing that someone is trying to hack to react like this.. so is better than nothing...Every little progress is good... a month ago everybody was saying that it was impossible to use an atmega on N@, otday, many peoples at CC, DN andhere think differently.. so.. just take the file use it, and post your observations :)

Alrite Bro, does not snow much here in s0.Cali.....But we were in the papers last year (in the semi -high Desert) Wicked hail storm...I mean really "Wicked"...Did not melt for a week. Looked like a mountain pass in dead winter....hehehe...haha
