View Full Version : not getting pic on 91

I have been looking around but i haven't seen anything on this yet.(could have missed it). I'm using a vision plus hooked up to, sat 61.5, 110, 119, and 91. eveything comes in fine except 91......get very good signal but no picture or sound. is that stream not decoded or am i missing something. I have rescaned it a couple times but always the same.

Not to sound rude but where have you been?

91 is Nimiq1 which is used by BEV which as not been hacked. You will get the same results if you scan 82 (Nimiq2).

makes sence.......to answer your question WORK......i play around when i'm laid off.....nov,dec,and jan.....not up on what is or isn't working yet.......guess i need to read alot more.......but again thanks .......(for waking me up),,,,hehe.....

I'm also looking to get my DVB card going on Bev. It seems to me that if Bev and Dish have both moved to N2 then it should only be a matter of getting the right keys for the Softcam.key file, no? The entries I have in the file I got of thi site show keys for N 0001 are the same as N 0101 which doesn't make sense (and do not work). Dish and Bev have never used the same keys. Maybe the rom102 cards have not been hacked (although I've seen some speculation lately) but the N2 for DVB should only come down to keys. If anyone could explain technically if I am mistaken, I'm very willing to learn.

Basically you are right about the keys, but the problem is that the BEV keys are NOT known, at least publicly. The speculation is that because BEV never issued any ROM101 the hackers can't get them. As far as ROM102 being hacked there is no proof of that anywhere. Also 0001 and 0101 are both Dish provider IDs. If I remember right BEV Ids are 0801 and 0901.

P.S. There is also a rumor that with BEV it is more than just the keys, I read somewhere that there are problems with header packets in the stream that need to be handled differently. But, like I said that is just rumor, what is a fact is there is currently NO public hack for BEV.
