Simple question which I haven't found an answer too.

I am installing my SW64 Switch and Power Inserter. Got my Dish all setup already and finishing RG-6 connections.

I have a high end Monster Power Conditioner which right now is between the Dish and IRD. So RG6 connection was as follows:

Dish---->Monster PC----->IRD

Where should I properly place the Power Inserter now that I have the SW64 to install:

Here:

Dish---->Monster PC---->Power Inserter----->IRD

Or Here:

Dish---->Power Inserter---->Monster PC----->IRD

I am not sure which is the correct way and if the extra voltage from the power inserter will negatively impact the operation of the Power Conditioner or the SW64 itself or BOTH.

Thanks.

Insert it before your other stuff anywhere in-line as long as the coax is going to the port on the switch that is labeled "to power inserter".

It could be one foot from the switch or two hundred.
