since the new keys wernt stored on the card i guess somone is on the money at finding the keys. they are gonna roll the hell out of the keys it willnt bother me its easy to edit the softcam file i feel bad for fta needing to jtag everytime must blow.. Nice work boys...

Keys don't work for me. I used softcam edit 5.5 and then I opened in note pad and the key were changed to what I wanted but nothing.

J-tag? It took me about 1 minute to enter new keys via remote on my spacestar, never even shut it off!

Not looking to start an fta vs plastic argument here, just clearing up some facts. In fact as soon as I find a good deal on a dish 6000, I'll be in the market for a fix.

Oh well gotta go, got 500 + channels to watch!

Keys work fine, I now get txtsy and few other porn channel without freezing now. I am really happy that my DVB setup is working perfectly. In a few months I will be trying out the Syndrome and AVR-X.

Yep Thanks noise_maker i e-mail your copy of working softcam.key to all my ppl .All is good ( ggggggggg 175 phone call ) its just tv ppl lolol. was going to get 200 AVR-X but not now may be if the S/W come out and this key shit is fix . hell i did not know it was down i had my sub on damn phone lololol.

Only problem is I can find no such file. When I set up MT I simply downloaded the entire plugins files from this site. I've gone through them and there is a softcam.keys.old file and a softcam (registry entry file) but no softcam.keys to do the cut and paste. I tried to create one with notepad and it doesn't work. Take a look at Noise-Makers post. It contains the complete softcam.key file. Copy and paste starting with the words Dish Network. Save it in notepad as Softcam. It will be a .txt file. Just rename the softcam.txt to softcam.key. Copy this file to your plugins directory.
BTW,if you've been watching tv for the last few weeks,softcam.key has to be there.

Thanks for the help. Stupid minor problem. The file I created was getting named softcam.keys.txt (the .txt was not shown) and not getting recognised by MT. All working fine now.

I really like my DVB. I got an avrx 2 weeks ago and have been having headaches and problems all the time. I got my DVB last nite and I'm up and running in 25 mins with all channels.
