If you're running dish, you must connect DQ7 to the proper point on the receiver to get the lock to work right. If yo're on bev, for now you can just pin the lock'd DQ7 line to ground. Bev isn't detecting locks with a junk byte like dish is, but that could change at any time.
tell me what kind of a receiver this is going in and I can probably come up with a pic of the proper connection point. It won't hurt to hook up DQ7 in a bev box, even if you don't need it, but with dish you must hook it up.
