I am trying to help a friend get his dvb card going but he lives 800 miles away from me so I can't just go over and help him, it's all by phone. He has all the software set up and ready to go but the problem is that he has to align his dish now. He can't seem to get sat signal no matter what he does. So I told him to get his dish receiver and use that to set his dish up. Now it's a model 3000 ok. I have his rom 2 card that went with that receiver and now he has nothing. I was using it cause he cancelled his sub and went with dtv. Now when he turns his receiver on it tells him no access card. I told him to hit the menu button before that error pops up but it still won't go in to the menu. He has a dtv receiver there also is there any way to use that to try and pick up 110 and 119? Thanks
