? Current Bin File Pansat 2500A ?

There are alot of people having problems with there pansat's right now, and I think the problem is with the BIN FILE. Can some one please tell us what the current bin file for the 2500A is? I've tried several files myself and the ones i've tried are'nt working. What should we be looking for in the system information menu? One problem is that they are being named differently, so you dont know what file your getting and downloading. Thanks

Run any BIN file after about sept 25th and it's fine. The problem is last Monday the public keys changed, You just need to re enter the new keys via your remote. I posted how to in a pansat 2700 thread here.

:cool: Ok, finally found a good bin file (x-85bl_050926_256t_api(n)) #114 in the FTA FILE SECTION. then I downloaded file to IRD using GTRom Loader v3.32 which changed the syst. info. screen on my ird to API:2.56t. Then downloaded my channel list, using STBgtoolls application. Then edited the keys like I read in another post. Many Thanks to : HALFPINT Step by Step entering keys into 2500A 11-07-05

1.Menu
2.Parental Control
3.Enter(OK)
4.Scroll down with Ch key on remote to Second Pin
5.Enter 0000 and click OK on your remote
6.You are now in the CAS System Screen
7.Scroll down to "Set default Key" and click OK
8.Now scroll up to Nagravision and click OK
9.Push Vol> 2 times and box will change to Dish Network.
10.Now push the Ch down 1 time to the Key Number 00.
11.Push Vol> 2 times and you will see Nagravision 2 in upper left corner
12.Scroll down with Ch key to Key Data window and enter the first 8bits =(16 numbers and letters)
13.Now hit the OK button this will save your first set of keys
14.Now Ch up one time to the 00 and use Vol> button to change it to 01
15.Now Ch down to Key Data again and enter 2nd set of 16 numbers and letters.
16.Hit the OK button to save and exit out all the way and watch TV.

Now I am back up and watching TV again. Hope this will help some of the straglers.

Be very careful with the new fixes, they have a tendency ofkilling clones. There is a no-kill version around. Check out al7bar.tk Also the versdion with the 12h fix is the latest out.
