R10 A23 error, please read

Somehow my 10 while sitting around got screwed
up. In NagraEdit 4.1 it says CAM date request failed
when resetting ATR, ATR reads valid. One step clean
reads SetIFS failed. Reading Rom 10 A23.
Ideas ?

Do a Bug Buster, set it to ROM10 512 times and while is Bugbusting pull the card in and out of the loader every 2 seconds until Bugbusting is complete.
Now try reading the card.
This worked for me many times.
Let me know how you make out.

Hey is there any way to unloop a ROM 10 that was looped by trying to clean
the card with Mili's blocker on it ? Would the bugbuster work for this maybe ?

Bug Buster only has rom 2 and rom 3 setting
if have bin save 4 card write bin back then clean card

JCK7 you are correct about Bug Buster only having settings for ROM2 and ROM3
You can use Bug Buster on a ROM10 card with the ROM3 setting, I have done iut many times and was able to bring ROM10 softlooped cards back to life
You can't write back your saved BIN to the card if when you try reading the card your ATR doesn't reset.

I have never tried resusitating a card that way

Well did the bugbuster and now invalid ATR.

Keep trying, do more than one bugbuster
Sometimes you have to do it 2 or 3 times before it works. Try reading the card after each bug buster is done
Make sure to pull your card in and out of the loader while the Bug Buster is getting done.
If this doesn't work I will save you some work and kick my own ass......

It's looped, can't get my old programs to work since I updated from 98 to XP.

I don't know if you'll believe me but if you're patient and keep trying it will work.
Try Changing the setting on Bugbuster from 512 to 1024 times and make sure you pull your card in and out of the loader every 2 seconds as the program is running.
Your card is softlooped as it was when you could not read it in the beginning

Got the ATR back but still can't get into the card. Same eror messages as before.
