This may be a little lengthy, sorry. I have had a fortec liftime ultra for some time new. When I got the system I did all the scans and created my own channel list.

Last night I download a new channel list to try and found that more channels were there that I could get on my other list. In fact the tp's on my original setup didn't even show a signal. And with the new list some of the tp's don't show up on it that I did have on my previous setup.

They only noticable change is that I had both 110 and 119 DiSEqC turned to off. Most channels came in, with the exception of almost all HBO's.

With the new channel list it had settings for the DiSEqC. And I had to fool around with them to get both 110 and 119 to get a signal. But then I would flip through the channels and it would lose the signal again.

Does anyone have an idea of whats wrong? Please help.

Thanks,

I fooled around a bit more. With the new channel list I can only get either 110 or 119 and any given time. If I go and play with the DiSEqC onw will work but not the other, if I play again the other will work but I lost the one I had before. Any ideas?

What about WITHOUT a channel list??? Did you made that channel list or you get it pre-made from some site???

The List I have I created. Just by scanning the sats and tp's then rearranging them in the order I wanted. I tried a different channel list and it does the same thing as above.

I do not use a Channel List, but I think -for you- is better keep trying (which program did you use, GTools or ChannelMaster?) For what I read, channel master would be better choice for that task.

I used GTools. I will try channel master.

I'm also using GTools and would like to use Channel Master. Could someone please tell me where to find it? (better yet, maybe attach it with your reply?)
