Hola Gaby!!! Nice to see you in this forum!!! Hi, asolerca!!! Welcome to this forum!!!
I do not know of any way of improving EPG in any receiver, but I found out that the Viewsat VS2000 Platinum has a really better EPG!!!
The other way is getting a DN receiver and use it just for that EPG.

The best way to improve the epg is to go to titntv.com they got a fantastic online epg.

Try going to the Installation menu and do a sort by transponder. This worked a liitle better for my 2700.
Personally, I prefer the EPG and the receiver's clock to be in 24-hour format as it eliminates abiguity with the time. According to BL, the newest version will be in 12-hour format. I hope there is the option to choose 24-hour format if I wish to.

I heard the same. A new improved bin is in the works for pansats.
